Review on 🚗 Hopkins 43425 Easy Installation Vehicle Wiring Kit by Draven Invert

I ordered this for my 2004 Highlander and found it to be very professionally built - and it solved the problem of connecting a 4 pin spade connector to a Toyota that has independent cornering and brake lights - You will need some sort of diode setup to prevent feedback between the two systems when the trailer lights are connected. Two defects - one that I thought was serious and one that I "wish to have". The main downside is that the spade connector was too big to fit through the factory outlet at the back of the car which meant I had to cut and splice the wiring harness. Not a big deal other than I expect plug and play for the money. Hopkins intended to anticipate this and provide a male/female connector on the 4 wire harness. The "want" would be an alternative connector to connect directly to the trailer's built-in wiring harness - it would be easier than any way to connect to the taillights. But overall it's worth the money and does a good install when finished.
