I bought and installed this generator. Worked less than a month, only 4 disks, started charging to 19V. After 20 seconds idle, it was too hot and my battery was hissing and spewing acid from the high voltage. Revain doesn't have a return option, it's through DB Electrical and they said they basically get F'ed. So no guarantee. Buy alternators, starters, etc. in the aftermarket. You will spend less in the long run. Wasting almost $100. When the same thing happened to the starter motor I ended up buying it from a parts store, no problems and no warranty from either store.
