This kit is a great value for the cost. Very easy to install and use. It allows for the wiring of a trailer's power/lighting wiring from a tow vehicle's standard 7-way (pin) socket to a trailer's 6-way (pin) socket. The self coiling wiring cord can stretch up to eight feet and keep the excess cabling neatly organized and out of the way. It uses 14 and 16 gauge wires. The kit comes with an all-weather oil resistant pre-wired and coiled cord assembly, a 6-way socket (with a spring loaded cover), a socket mounting bracket and misc hardware (installation tools required, not included). Note the kit does not include any wiring or hardware from the 6-pin socket back to the trailer's power users. There is ample wiring descriptions for both ends of the cord assembly included with kit.Would recommend this to anyone.
