Review on PORTER CABLE A00104 Porter Cable O Ring by Jared Allred

I bought this to repair a Porter Cable pneumatic nailer. It worked very well. Assuming it holds up over time, it's worth 5 stars in terms of performance. I gave 4 stars because it doesn't seem like value for money. Yes, $6 is an inexpensive repair, but it's just an o-ring. I was able to purchase it for $3 from a link on the Porter Cable website, but shipping was $7. You could probably buy a suitable o-ring at your local hardware store for a lot less, but in my case it wasn't worth the time and risk. probably not yours. The nailer has several O-rings and seals. If I had to replace them all - scheduled maintenance in my opinion - it would be prohibitively expensive. Unfortunately. It's like throwing away a car because new tires are too expensive. I don't blame the seller here because I don't know how much he paid for it. I just don't like that "I've been robbed" feeling, even for $6.
