I had a problem with my starter motor intermittently engaging. I mean I turned the key and heard a click but the starter motor didn't engage or even turn the flywheel. Sometimes it starts with the first turn of the key, and sometimes it takes 3, 4, or 5 turns of the key. I ended up not being able to get the starter to work at all no matter how many times I turned the key. I had converted and installed another one in the garage but I still had the same problem. I decided to order this one since it costs $150-$250 plus the base charge at local parts stores. While the AC Delco motors I bought from my local auto parts store are listed as 3kW motors, this one is listed as 2.5kW. I was a little worried that cranking the engine fast or long enough might not be enough to start the engine. It's just great! Just make sure your batteries and cables are ok! Will definitely buy another one of these in the future if this one fails (and it will, they all do). Hope this helps someone.
