Review on 🚗 Enhanced Performance with Flowmaster 43041 40 Series Muffler by Chris Burks

While this is a good muffler and well built it is louder than I expected. I enjoy it most of the time and would love it even more if I was in my 20s, but driving around the neighborhood early in the morning seems a bit uncomfortable. I used a high flux coil and removed the restrictions in the Y tube so that may have affected the sound. Flow is excellent and acceleration feels smoother, with a slight increase in power that is noticeable. A special exhaust system is required to fit it as it is not an exact OEM replacement. If you make noise or run off-road and aren't worried about being quiet, that's fine. I've been driving on the Autobahn for a while, the volume seems a bit too much. Looking back, I would go for the next quieter version of the same FM jammer. Installed on the Ford F350 5.4 l.
