Don't waste your money on this or you'll lose even more money looking for books. I don't know much about scanning but this is the second time I've been using this scanner and it broke midway through scanning some good deals. I am writing this directly from the Goodwill Store. Now I can scan until I get a new one. The button has stopped working and is slow. Get a refund instantly
