I've had one of these for many years. Living in a rented house without my adjustable can opener made me realize how much I missed it. So I ordered another one from Revain. It's so nice not having to ask my husband to open some jars that are really stuck on the lids. This opener is not difficult to use. You adjust your hands to the correct size while resting on the lid, then rotate. Every now and then I find a lid that doesn't fit and then I just hit the top edge with the opener and hope that neither the opener nor the can breaks. There are multiple ways to open the lid! As my parents got older they bought every type of bottle opener they could find except this style. I've tried them all and none have been as helpful as this one. Yes, there might be a short learning curve, but once you do, you'll get it - unless you have it.
