You know quality when you see it.

I have worked in many trades as well as in retail including a hardware store so it goes without saying that I have dealt with many tools from different manufacturers in my life and I can do that I can say without a doubt that these are the highest quality instruments I have ever held in my hands. When I worked in the hardware department at Lowe's, I kept various tools just to see how they actually felt in the hand, the weight to size ratio, the quality to the touch, the finish like a collectible look and that's what you get When you pick up something as good as these little guys, you quickly realize that most of the things they sell in big boxes for hand tools aren't as good as you thought. I know it's a basic tool but if you use one of these I really don't see it getting much better (other than a little protective cap for people who like to carry it in their pocket like when I did at BestBuy & Circuit City ) Anyway, the real reason I wrote this review is to help someone who might be looking for them to sever ties. I've tried searching all over the internet and YouTube and couldn't find the answer to my question. Can he cut strappy ties low and flush and they do it amazing. I don't like leaving those sharp edges behind because I've cut myself on them many times, and in retail I understand when you cut a tie by the strap. and leave a sharp edge of spite on it that will cut the buyer, he can sue the store. We've had spruce cutters at BestBuy that appear to do the same thing, but they just feel like a real tool in your hands, not the cheap design of most spruce cutters. These pieces are also the best nail clippers I've ever used, it takes very little pressure to cut through and they're accurate enough in the tip to get you close to the cuticles of anything I've ever done. tries. I know they aren't designed for that, but I'm actually considering buying another set just for that. The grips are also very nice rubber, not cheap plastic as might appear in the photo, very comfortable and just the right feel. It really doesn't matter what you do, you need some of these 👍🏻

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Good but not great
