Review on Precision Measuring with Woodworking Caliber Marking Degrees by Jeff Labore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's worth the investment - it has limitations

I really hesitated to spend almost 20 dollars on it. Now that I have it - I think it's worth the money. Simple, light and accurate - this is what I was looking for. He met those needs. Pros - Great for finding the center of boards and circles. It looks really solid. Reliable construction. Has a measuring ruler (standard and metric). Cons: Measuring ruler is useless to me. I don't know what/where zero is. The ruler is essentially bolted - to move it four hex screws had to be loosened. I just don't understand how best to use it)

Pros
  • Draw two lines randomly, the intersection is the center of the circle
Cons
  • unreliable
