This works for me and is definitely safer than fully charged batteries dangling in my tool bag where there is a risk of short circuits. I hold the charger on one side and three batteries of different sizes on the other. Then it's easy to put it on the bench in the evening, set up the charger and charge each of the batteries that need it. It can be reassembled the next day and put back in the tool bag for next time. The bag is durable enough if you give it proper attention, which for me as someone who doesn't use it on a daily basis is good enough. For a contractor who moves to a different location every day, this may not be enough, and the entire team does not handle it as carefully. Especially the velcro dividers wear out pretty quickly if you move them around a lot or hop around in the truck.
