Review on 🚲 Topeak MTX Trunk Bag Dx: Organize and Carry with Water Bottle Holder by Jack Ford

I've been using this bag for over a month now and have become a fan of both it and the Topeak luggage system. I have a Topeak MTX rear basket for shopping, but this bag works well for most everyday rides. With expandable options, it holds a surprising amount of stuff, although it's probably not enough if you're commuting and need a change of clothes, a laptop, etc. However, the main compartment offers space for a U-lock, a cable and much more. packed lunch and more. The side pockets hold things you need quick access to and the outer wall is sturdy so everything you have is safely protected. I've only used the water bottle holder a handful of times and haven't had any issues, but if your water bottle is too big for the cords to wrap securely around the top of the bottle, I'm not sure I'd trust it on a bumpy one Street. The locking mechanism that secures the bag to the seatpost hasn't let me down yet, but I still use a small elastic cord to attach the bag to the seatpost for insurance. The loop at the back keeps my Cygolite rear light secure, even on bumpy roads. Overall I like the ease and quickness of getting the bag out of the trunk when leaving my bike locked and the handle makes it easy to carry the bag. Good product!
