Not as much space as I thought. About 12.5 liters.

This well-made 12 liter bag is perfect for a fun bike ride or a leisurely commute. It's definitely not enough for more than 20 round trips plus a whole day. The main compartment holds my LL lunch box (10" high x 8" wide) and a change of clothes (I'm under 5ft 2in, clothes are small). It had absolutely everything for the major. Even a small coffee cup could not be squeezed in. Side compartments hold my tool bag, pump, dry bag and small wallet. There was no way to secure a smooth coffee mug inโ€ฆ

Exactly what I was looking for. I returned the smaller version of the EX due to the lack of usable external pockets. This is much more expensive, but worth the money because I want to keep it for a long time. It also stretches at the top (zipper). Rigid floor with rail to match Peak Rack. However, we already have the racks pre-installed, so we ordered a Peak adapter which will hopefully attach to our existing racks and allow us to use the bottom rails for mounting instead of the old bungeeโ€ฆ

Doesn't fit Topeak stand

I'm a big fan of Topeak products. They are more expensive but usually have a good design. I had an old identical model of this bag for years and the zipper broke. I already had the same rack on two different bikes, so I ordered a new one. The bag is a nice improvement with large side pockets. So I finally packed everything in a new bag and decided to give it a try. But the bag does not fit on the luggage rack. Eventually the tracking system was changed, but the product description doesn'tโ€ฆ

An almost perfect bike bag

I love this bag! I've had it for about a month now and use it for work and quick shopping trips when I just need a few things. When using it for work, I can fit my wallet, lunch in a small Tupperware bowl, masks, and two 16-20 ounce water bottles into the main compartment and then it won't stretch out. At my sides I have hand sanitizer, bike tools, first aid kit, keys and bungee cords. I also store the divider and shoulder strap in the side pockets when not in use. The water bottle holderโ€ฆ

Exactly what I was looking for. . .

But I had to do a hack. My seat is pushed back and low enough that the backpack can push against it when latched normally. I just used a couple of zip ties to secure it and slide it back a little. That works great. I don't have to take it off, but it's easy enough to reattach the zip tie when needed, or just let it touch the seat. In fact, I have a model that I bought many years ago that had zipped baskets. I've rotated it between the two bikes I ride. I wanted one for each bike so I went withโ€ฆ

Great backpack for most day trips

I've been using this bag for over a month now and have become a fan of both it and the Topeak luggage system. I have a Topeak MTX rear basket for shopping, but this bag works well for most everyday rides. With expandable options, it holds a surprising amount of stuff, although it's probably not enough if you're commuting and need a change of clothes, a laptop, etc. However, the main compartment offers space for a U-lock, a cable and much more. packed lunch and more. The side pockets hold things

Nice bag with some limitations

Note. I had the old EX version of this bag for a while before realizing it was too small. These are the Arkel tote bag and the Ortlieb Commuter QL 3.1 bag. I use this bag when I know I don't need to bring my computer to or from work on a certain day. Pros: Good size. A change of work clothes, a large lunch, a small notebook, bike tools and a phone/keys/wallet all fit in a small space. The side pockets actually hold things on this model compared to the tiny mesh side panel on the EX version. The
