Review on Senville Drain Split Conditioner Ductless by Louis Alford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits well and routes out through the wall

The old condensate hose that connected to my mini split out through the outer wall had to make a sharp 90 degree turn inside out through the make a hole in the wall. This sharp bend caused the old pipe to contract at the point of the bend or bend (similar to a kink in a garden hose). This prevented water from leaking out through the pipe. Instead, water collects in the pipe before the bend and eventually seeps to the floor inside the house. So last weekend I replaced my old tube with this Senville tube. Due to the design of the corrugated hose (or whatever they're called?), the Senville hose doesn't kink or close at the kink, presumably allowing water to continue draining. It's only been a week and I haven't had to run a mini-split yet (I'll learn how the new tube performs better as the weather warms up and condensation forms), but if I look closely it's so clear that the new Senville tube should work much better. The Senville pipe is lightweight, twists easily when passed through a wall, and connects seamlessly to the main condensate drain hose that comes with the mini-split. divorce in the house.
