Review on Pro Tec Classic Skate Gloss Black by Luke Hodes

For many years I skate aggressively and have always worn Pro-Tec. There are many reviews that it is not designed for direct hits and it seems that new demands are being made on this rigid styrofoam. I don't like the ones that cause a solid crack and it's broken and done. It distracts by dissipating impact (I guess I'm no doctor, if you stretch your imagination), but they saved my skull from 15-foot drops and gaps in a parking lot, and I even got that once Head bumped on the corner of a square bar. To be honest I don't care what the label says, these helmets saved me in my teens and 20's and I'm happy to use them again now.
