Pro Tec Classic Skate Gloss Black Review

I tried a few other helmets before buying another one as I wanted to see how reliable other brands were. Unfortunately they just weren't as safe as this one so I bought this helmet again and I'm not the least bit disappointed. I use it for cycling and many other helmets just sit on the head with no lateral support, the Pro-tec does NOT have this problem. For many years I skate aggressively and have always worn Pro-Tec. There are many reviews that it is not designed for direct hits and it seems that new demands are being made on this rigid styrofoam. I don't like the ones that cause a solid crack and it's broken and done. Ordered this helmet along with several other brands to compare. One of the others was certified and the other was not (note that this particular helmet is not certified and therefore does not have a foam liner). However, it has an excellent foam insert. Because it is not certified, it is designed for impact/low impact disasters. I knew that when I bought it, so I knew what I was buying.
