Easy installation - strong enough.

We had an old storm door that we will be replacing over time (as with many projects). The latch was wearing out and I was worried that the dog might escape. I got an "aluminum" finish that I thought would be metallic with a clear finish, but was painted aluminum instead. Installation was easy as all the holes matched my old grip. The striker plate did not fit through the holes in the old plate - for the new clasp, the plate had to be closer to the door than the previous one. No problem with the product, just my situation with the door. Seems to work and latches securely (sorry pooch - gotta stay inside).
