Consider the size of the base, ie the base above the receiver is very large.
Hitch ball base is VERY large. In my application, my boat trailer, the base interferes with the hitch on the trailer. It can catch but needs to be accurate i.e. latch has a VERY tight tolerance. The clutch itself is of good quality. I had to go back to my original ball. Just make sure your application can use hexadecimal base.
