I bought this but didn't like the color. So I decided to disassemble the metal. They painted this item beautifully and used high quality materials. The usual stripping tactics didn't work. I had to take it to a friend and sandblast it. That's when I noticed that it's not a solid piece. These are 2 halves of a squirrel cooked together and then welded to the base. They used some kind of connection to fill in the gaps. So instead I found a pair I liked, filled in the gaps and repainted them. Overall it looks very good and is very solid. It will probably last forever if you leave the original paint on it. It would be 5 stars if the squirrel was a whole piece. But I'm happy with that.
