Review on Buy Koplow Games School Specialty Plastic Sand Timer Set- Set of 3, 4 inch Timers by Tammy Cooley

My wife and I sometimes buy old board games from flea markets or thrift stores and find that the original hourglass timers are often missing or broken. For just over $6, this item offers a nice variety of different time slots to get closer to the original timers we need to replace. Compared to a digital stopwatch, I've found that the one and two minute timers are indeed fairly accurate (+/- a second in multiple tests), but the three minute timer only ticks at 2:36 . The original timer in my 1970 version of Parker Brothers' Boggle reads 2:44 so the new one seems pretty close. All in all a good and useful product.
