Large and small sizes are not exact for a knitter

I am an experienced knitter and these markings are deceiving. "Large" is very, very large, for example, for needle size 15 or larger, and "small" is not very small, more suitable for needle size 8 or larger. If you knit with smaller needles, say 1 to 8, I don't think they will work for you. I wanted to try this type of ring markers but when I opened the box I knew they wouldn't work. They are very nicely packed in a transparent plastic box and make a quite robust impression. So if you knit with very large needles, these will work for you.
