Obviously they don't compare to the hooks which cost me as much as I spent on this entire 24 piece set. But for the price, it definitely deserves five stars. We recently moved and about half of my hooks somehow got lost in the shuffling (the ones I used the most). I used them until I found these hooks (hopefully) or replaced them with similar quality ones (probably). I didn't have any major problems with crocheting. They're not perfectly smooth, perfectly shaped, or beautifully colored like my favorites, but at a little over fifty cents a hook they should just be real hooks, not break when I use them, and allow me to fix them with a hook . deserve five stars. They definitely did. I received them about a week ago (January 4th) and they allowed me to hem a very thick winter blanket I knitted for my husband, a 3 piece knitted cotton tea towel hem, crochet a doll set and move on. on Granny Squares for two Minecraft blankets I'm making for my sons. I've used a variety of metal and wooden hooks and nothing has broken or made me feel like none of the hooks are working. Each costs 55 cents. For the price I'm very happy to have every hook size I could need until I (hopefully) figure out where my favorites were hidden during our move.
