This machine sucks. Spend a little more money and get something that will last. Use this adapter twice (within 2 days) before burning the device. It is very difficult to insert a 20V battery into the adapter and even more difficult to remove it. When applying pressure in material that was difficult to cut (hardwood), the adapter stopped working. I tested the drill with existing 18 volt batteries and the drill worked fine. I also checked the battery for 20 volts, everything is fine. The only thing left in the troubleshooting loop is the adapter. Just not worth the money. deal or not!
