Usage Summary: Apple Car Play is a game changer. Since using my phone to navigate, I no longer have to look down at the cup holders (where I put my phone) to look the next direction, which to be honest was a little unsafe. The map is now elegantly displayed on the home screen. This upgrade can prevent a collision, allowing the driver to focus on the road. It's also nice to be able to use Spotify's interface and album art. Installation overview: At first I was a little afraid to install this unit but decided to do it on my 2016 C300 4Matic (W205). I was pleasantly surprised at the relatively easy installation of this unit. There were only four screws to loosen, 2 screws to remove the center panel and 2 screws to remove the stereo computer. Adding this device was fairly easy as the wiring harnesses are tap proof and if you try to place the wires in the wrong place they won't snap. I drilled a small hole to route the USB cable to the machine's media input. The hardest part was trying to squeeze the rat's nest of cables back in after everything was connected.
