Much safer, feels handier OEM

Usage Summary: Apple Car Play is a game changer. Since using my phone to navigate, I no longer have to look down at the cup holders (where I put my phone) to look the next direction, which to be honest was a little unsafe. This little decoder works great on my 2015 C300. It keeps the original system and adds the Carplay feature you love at an affordable price. So here's the thing. I just got this and there are many videos on how to install it, but in the end I did it my way: 1. You take a piece of plastic and remove the silver button panel from the center console that is used to open the center console .
