This little decoder works great on my 2015 C300. It keeps the original system and adds the Carplay feature you love at an affordable price. The box has everything you need and it's all very easy to install (the only problem is disassembling the front panel, which isn't too bad either. Find a video on Youtube). The instruction book is very detailed and will give you answers to most of your questions. The support team also responds quickly. Let me share my experience: 1. The audio cable needs to be reconnected from the box to the external USB input in the storage box. Once I pulled the cable from the passenger side but there is actually a small tunnel in the wall between the inside of the fairing and the storage box. Plug the cable in there so it doesn't fly out. However, I found this from another brand's video.2. I don't have the original rear camera, I have a non-original one that worked fine but doesn't have an active guide. So be careful as most cameras don't have this and don't expect this advanced feature from this little decoder. When it works, Bluetooth is connected to the Carplay box by default. But I had to switch it to one of the original MB systems for unknown reasons to make calls, otherwise I couldn't hear the voice. Fixed by iOS.4 update. I kept crashing when working carplay with a map + music + VPN. Solved by upgrading my IP7 to 12 ;-) Basically this means that in most cases crashes are due to iOS and not the decoder. And even if you think Carplay responses are slow, it's your phone, not the decoder. I would recommend this product to any MB owner.
