The only negative thing I can think of about these timers is that they aren't indestructible. I've used 4 of these but I'm down to one. I have a bad habit of knocking her off my fridge to her death on the floor. Even after a fall, they still show the time, but the beeper is knocked out. Unless you're clumsy, these things are great. The best thing about these timers is that you can press the buttons with one hand as they are attached to a magnetic surface. It may sound weird, but every other timer I've ever used gets wobbly when the buttons are pressed. The magnetic base of this timer is horizontal, which makes it very stable when pressing the buttons.
