I've been using an old Python cable lock to secure security cameras for years. It was a reliable tool. Recently, after about 15 years of use, the lock froze and I broke the key when trying to open it. As I was very happy with the service I received from this cable I decided to purchase another one. My biggest disappointment with this cable is how small it is. It's my fault for just assuming they're all the same and not reading the description properly. When my old lock broke it took me about 15 minutes and a few different tools to cut it from the tree. I'm pretty sure I can cut this cable with a good pair of pliers. We all know that honest people need locks and if people want to steal, they will get it. But at least with the old castle, I felt they should be prepared. It probably won't take much effort. Otherwise it seems to work as it should. The lock works clearly and correctly. This is probably good for securing things, but useless for anti-theft.
