The probe is accurate to almost 4 degrees Fahrenheit. Tested in the mouth. I am healthy and a real thermometer reads me in the middle of 98 degrees. This probe showed an average of 94 degrees. The accuracy in the infrared range is also not correct. I tested it on the hot end of my 3D printer and on a table warmer. Both were only 5-10 degrees Celsius compared to the 3D printer's internal temperature sensors.
