I've always preferred K&N products as they tend to test their products thoroughly before they put them on the market. I bought it for my '94 F350 as my brother has one on a '93 F350 and loves it. The kit noticeably increased the performance of my 460. Gasoline mileage was only marginally better, about 0.5 to 1mpg). I was expecting something better, hence only 4 stars. My brother (engine tech) suggests that my stock 460 needs an aftermarket header and exhaust system to take full advantage of this kit's larger air intake.
