Bought and installed this Timken hub with speed sensor on the front of a 2001 GM 2500 HD pickup. The presentation was perfect. It appeared to be genuine Timken stock in original Timken packaging. However, within 60 days and 500 miles, the unit failed. The speed sensor on the hub was sending erratic readings, causing problems with the ABS warning light and brakes. The price is tempting, but either I sent fake junk or this is one of those parts that you should only get from OEM. I don't know, maybe it was a high quality Timken bearing but the other parts (hub/abs sensor) were inferior? In any case, installing this non-standard, error-prone, non-OEM component is not worth your time and effort. Now determine if there is warranty support (less than 90 days have passed)? I will report this later.
