These things are good because they're the quickest way to bind boards. Seriously, lashing down your gear takes just a few seconds longer than just laying the boards on the roof. Only 4 stars because they don't lock. There is a lock on one side and not on the other. Locks are actually just a deterrent against random thieves. Inno really should have put locks on both sides. Sorry for disclosing information dear owners of Inno! Also, the bolts were too long to fit the cross members on my Ford Explorer, so the bolts touched the roof and scratched the paint. This can easily be remedied by purchasing shorter screws. People connected to the higher crossbars of the aftermarket roof rack will not have this problem. But overall this product makes attaching boards extremely easy so it's still a great product.
