I bought a WRT100 from Revain. Having used many of their products before, I didn't use the setup utility but set everything up manually. It is very similar to the WRT54G family. Configuration was easy and predictable. For me the signal strength is much better than the 54 series. I only use it in B&G mode, without MIMO adapter. My problem is the internal clock. It is not showing the correct time and Linksys has again failed to write the correct/updated US Daylight Saving Time rules into their firmware. A week after I installed it for the first time, I noticed that the clock runs fast. About 4 minutes/day. There is no other way to set the clock than to reset the router and let it find the time server. After the reset, the clock runs correctly. This is very important to me as I use time-based access restrictions. I chatted with Linksys and they followed the standard "firmware update" procedure. I have done it in vain. Linksys gave me permission to return it to them but their online system was not working. I exchanged it through Revain with no problems. Now the replacement has the same problem. When we switched to daylight saving time last week, the router didn't work either. I have to say that I'm in a different time zone. I guess I'll have to undo this fix in a couple of weeks. The clock on the new router is still 4 minutes faster per day. I don't know yet what my final decision will be. I would be interested to know if anyone else has had a problem with the watch.
