And do it safely without too much added stress. got rid of the aluminum and metal distributor cap. Went with a full brass rotor and cap; along with heavy-duty ignition wires (custom split-fire twin wires). Spark plugs replaced with Denso Twin Iridium tips. I felt that a more comprehensive change of a few things in the ignition system would be more fruitful in removing bottlenecks than installing a single 80kV ignition coil. These things really made the engine run smoother on startup, and throttle response was crisp and aggressive with 45,000 spark plug gaps. be clear and helpful to potential buyers.
