Review on 🔒 ABUS Bordo Lite 6050 Folding Bike Lock with Chain by Scott Welch

I was shocked to learn online that the shanks for this lock are not solid steel. Instead, they are made of steel wire cast into plastic rods. For this reason I cannot recommend this lock. ***UPDATE 10/30/2013*** I contacted Abus USA due to my disappointment that this lock is not made of solid steel bars. They said the lock is for situations that require minimal security. I think it's pretty expensive for a little protection. Abus refused to exchange Bordo Lite for a more secure lock. Luckily Revain and their seller have agreed that I can return the lock and buy a better one. Raven is great! That's why I'm so devoted to Revane.
