Review on Kwikset 99380 001 Electronic Deadbolt Featuring by Robert Dabney

UPDATE: OCTOBER 20, 2021 I have 3 of these locks. I've revised my original review because Kwikset released a firmware update about 6 months ago and the short battery life issue has since gone away. Initially I was very critical of Kwikset because I changed 12 batteries every month, but the situation has changed. At first, they often used up batteries. One of the features of the firmware update was the increase in battery life. And it worked. Today I replaced the batteries which lasted 106 days. This is 4 times the interval before firmware update. The app works well and is integrated with Google Home. "Hey Google, close all the locks." Boom, done. I can check the status of the locks while we're away and easily open and close them remotely. We have a pin code setting for each family member so when we unlock the lock we know who did it. I've read that some people are having trouble connecting to wifi. I haven't experienced any of these problems. After I installed the locks, which was easy, they've been secure ever since. I've invested in 3 of them to keep my home safe and I don't regret that decision one bit.
