Short adjustable wrench with extra narrow jaw for hard-to-reach places

This wrench isn't very heavy, but it's one of the thinnest I've ever had or seen. Get into those hard-to-reach places that ordinary adjustable wrenches or even combination wrenches won't fit. I have a set of flimsy combination wrenches, but it's a lot easier to just toss this little wrench in your tool bag and use it whenever you need it. I would rate this wrench as medium duty rather than using a higher torque (greater than 50 ft-lbs) to loosen or tighten. The grip has a nice grippy finish and there isn't too much mechanical play in the key. I actually like the shorter size, it works well for automotive jobs in smaller vehicles where a standard tool is hard to come by. I've also had good results holding one nut while tightening another nut over it, which can be tricky with a regular gauge tool when working with smaller hardware. It's sort of a specialty tool and I wouldn't use it as my main adjustable wrench, but it's a great little piece and I've found quite a few uses for it in the short time I've had it. It seems like it will last a while if you don't use it too aggressively, but I wouldn't consider it a super powerful tool. Good for home use and light mechanical work.

Pros
  • Extra wide bore up to 30 mm (1-3/16 inch); Thin jaws (2.5mm) and short handle allow you to work in hard-to-reach places that a standard wrench can't reach
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
