Great idea, where has it been all my life?

There have been many, many times in my life when I desperately needed an adjustable crescent wrench, but there wasn't enough room for a large crescent wrench. That's really a great idea! I think it's around 22 or 24mm which is great but look how narrow it is! I have a custom hitch and license plate frame with a nut that I can't get to with a regular crescent wrench. This thin wrench is great! Please look at the 2 pictures I uploaded, see how thin it is! Seriously, I wish I had had this many…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some bugs

New for this DIY 😉

I didn't know it was so easy to find a key that fits in a tight space. I ordered as soon as I saw it because I've been doing some plumbing work at home lately. A bad water heater resulted in more pipes. And I struggled as the jaws of my wrench were too thin to fit. I like to engrave sizes, look at pictures where you can pre-set the hole, or read off the size of a nut, for example. But the main attraction is that it is half the thickness, but at the same time has sufficient strength. The…

The slim jaw style is a reason to order this!

As an avid DIY enthusiast, I love my tools and I have tools for specific purposes. In this case, it's basically a standard crescent wrench, but with significantly thinner jaws, allowing you to tighten/loosen nuts that find themselves in awkward, small spaces that a traditional crescent or open-end wrench won't fit. I've long cursed these scenarios where I had to try to use needle nose pliers to loosen a nut because the standard wrench didn't fit. When I saw this, I immediately ordered it. My…

Not 8 inches and not exactly thin, but still usable.

This is one of those Revain products that are available on Vine now, but I don't have a full list of products to review. Therefore I cannot see the listing price or verify any claims in the listing. Its length is definitely a far cry from 8 inches as the total length from the tip of the extreme jaw to the extreme point of the handle is only about 5.5 inches. As you can see in my 2nd photo, it's not exactly flimsy either. (It's quite difficult to make the adjustment screw and slide mechanism…

  • Absolutely amazing!

Crazy Plumbing Parts Tool

The 8" wrench I received is less than 6" long but that might have something to do with the name. I know this chunky little wrench is just what I need to get at the flimsy nut around the faucet that the builder installed in my hot tub. I'm very glad this wrench is about five and a half inches long as there isn't much room besides the impossible gaps around the handles. This key is well made. The jaws open well and smoothly. There are some metric and inch markings on the opening part that should…

Not 8 " but a 5 " wrench

I was a little shocked when I saw the box, then opened it and found a tiny one in the key. I photographed it next to a regular sized tape measure to show how small it is. The jaws are only 3/4 inch long. The expandable jaw opening is 1 1/4" but the jaw head is 2 1/4". So your reach is only 3/4 inch, because anything beyond that the adjustable jaw head will keep you from getting close. I don't know what to use it for. If only they made the adjustable range shorter and the jaws longer so you…

Roughly the best deal you'll find on this fine open-end wrench

For those of you who work on your bike, ESP cup and cone wheel bearings, this is the font style you really enjoy, especially if you are interested in road works. Great quality at a great price compared to the competition. In addition, not only bike mechanics but also plumbers will appreciate it. mechanics too. Anywhere you can benefit from the thin jaw of a wrench that can turn a screw without hitting or interfering with another screw. On the downside, this is closer to a 6" wrench and NOT an…

Pros
  • Forged, heat-treated Cr-V steel construction with anti-corrosion coating
Cons
  • Concise guide

This wrench isn't very heavy, but it's one of the thinnest I've ever had or seen. Get into those hard-to-reach places that ordinary adjustable wrenches or even combination wrenches won't fit. I have a set of flimsy combination wrenches, but it's a lot easier to just toss this little wrench in your tool bag and use it whenever you need it. I would rate this wrench as medium duty rather than using a higher torque (greater than 50 ft-lbs) to loosen or tighten. The grip has a nice grippy finish and

Pros
  • Extra wide bore up to 30 mm (1-3/16 inch); Thin jaws (2.5mm) and short handle allow you to work in hard-to-reach places that a standard wrench can't reach
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
