Review on Ultra Slim USB C Type-c External DVD Drive for Mac & Laptop - Versatile CD RW DVD RW Superdrive and Disc Duplicator by Derrick Patterson

My old Mac mini had a built-in CD burner that failed. Instead of spending over $100 to replace a burner, I decided to look for an external USB CD burner and Version Tech's USB CD drive offered an inexpensive solution. It does not require any additional driver and works with applications already included in the Apple OS 10 system. I had to play around with it a bit to find apps that control different functions. Audio CDs play in iTunes. To burn a selected file, folder, etc., Finder is the control application under File, X Burn to Disc. I highly recommend this product as a solution for older Macs whose recorders no longer work. Newer versions of the Mac mini don't have a built-in CD drive. The Tech Drive version will be a simple and inexpensive solution for reading and writing discs.
