These are great. We were using rigid trays for our dog bowls before and they took up too mush floor space in our smaller home, and also if we accidentally knocked the edge walking by, water would spill everywhere. These on the other hand, are soft and pliable, and a smaller size - perfect for a smaller pet. Our dogs are 15 and 30 pounds and their bowls fit nicely with room to spare. These are durable, good quality, yet also pliable. I really like the dark color, they fade away in my decor, instead of sticking out so whatever bowls you have will be the thing you notice, not the mat. Easy to clean. Our dogs are not really sloppy drinkers, but this does catch all of their water drinking drips and kibble that may get dropped while eating. Very pleased with this purchase.
