We were using rigid trays for our dog bowls before and they took up too mush floor space in our smaller home, and also if we accidentally knocked the edge walking by, water would spill everywhere. The mat was smaller than I thought it would be so the original purpose I purchased it for didn't work. My bad for not looking at the dimensions. However, it's made well and the price was good so I use it for my cat's water and feeding bowls. Works perfect.

It fits the bowls I ordered just perfect. It is the right size and thickness. Before I had a cloth mat, that was always having to go in the wash. This I just gave to wipe it off. It works great and looks great!

I have two of these mats and they are the perfect size for my cats. The mats are small enough that they doesn’t take up much room in the kitchen and they have been easy to cleanup. They can easily be washed/rinsed off in the sink.

My little chihuahua doesn’t have any teeth left in his head. Even though he eats wet food the bowl gets pushed around as he tries to gum it up. This helps him and I imagine cuts down on his frustrations.

Absolutely perfect for a small or toy sized dog. The bowls sit on the mat with a little room all the way around but not so much that the dog has to step into the mat. Once placed on the mat, they don’t move around. The grooves on the bottom help with picking up bowls while ensuring the bowls don’t get along.

Great product! I previously had a fabric mat under my pets water bowl. My 8 month old cat recently learned to drag both the mat & full water crock across the room, sloshing water everywhere. EDDIE! This mat is perfect because it doesn't slide. It is also the perfect size.

I have a mini pin/pug mix. He's tiny enough (20 lbs) but "tall". Many of the previous mats we tried were too long or left too much excess space around the bowls which made it easy for him to make a mess. This is a great little mat. Here's a realistic photo of my two cat's pet feeder on the mat. I must say, I'm impressed because the silicone and ridges seem to catch a lot of the mess, preventing it from traveling around the tile. Also, the mat prevents the feeder from moving while my male cat devours into the bowl, making an annoyingly disgusting mess. These are pretty okay silicone mats. They're easy to clean, durable, and the grips keep the gang's food dishes from sliding around but they aren't quite large enough to keep the food off of the floor. Maybe I just have sloppy eaters but I'm still cleaning food off of the floors. : (

I had a good chuckle when I opened the box. This thing is advertised as a small pet food mat, but it's intended use was for a dish drying mat. It's on the packaging and everything. I'm not disappointed because I still use it for my cat's food bowl, but thought I would share that you can use it for both purposes. :)

Former mat for food and water needed replaced. This mat, although sturdy enough, did not have a lip around edges tall enough to prevent spillage of water when more than a little drops of water. Disappointed as I'll now have to find a new mat.

I bought this mat because I have two very messy cats. Whenever they would eat, their hard food biscuits would fly everywhere across the floor. The mat has helped contain the food much better. Now I can simply lift up the mat, take it to the trash can and dump their mess in. My only complaints are that their pet hair also sticks to the mat, so it needs frequent cleaning and while the mat is easy to wash, it takes a bit of effort to get it dry. I like this mat. I’m using it for my cat food. It’s just the right size for a couple of 5 inch bowls and a 4 inch plate. It makes the inevitable drips and crumbs much easier to clean up. It’s deep enough to catch spills when I’m not careful enough putting the ball down, and it has been very easy to clean up
