I have several of these stands on different machines. They can be modified very easily if necessary and are durable. I particularly like the ability to change the position of the steering wheel by 90 degrees. Some machines are best used with the wheels in line with the work, others at a 90 degree angle to the work. Some machines store better one way or another, and this design gives you the ability to customize your machine to fit your base, which is more beneficial to your business and needs. This is not a one design fits all basis. I also like the two corners that you can use to screw on the chuck and level the base. Even the best floors are not completely level. With this machine you can safely mount your tool wherever you place it. I probably have over 10 of these bases (have tried others) but Shop Fox gives you the most bang for your buck!
