Better than expected! Perfect for what I need. These soft brass brushes are great for my metal clay and wrought iron work. I wasn't expecting the 4 inch bristles to run the length of the wooden brush. Actual bristle length is 0.75 inches. Really soft, (and it will be much better than using a steel brush which constantly painfully pokes working fingers) Very satisfied.
