These brushes fall apart. Both the wooden part of the handle and the bristles could move. The base of the piece of wood is something like a thin strip of wood that attaches to the body of the handle and came loose after a few months of purchase.

Even the description says 24 cm. But somewhere in my head I got it wrong and expected the bristle length to be 9.5 inches. This thing is small, a little bigger than a toothbrush. The bristles are nice and soft, well fanned out and ensure a good even distribution of the bristles. I was hoping for something big enough to sweep out the ash in my pizza oven, but it's not.

Better than expected! Perfect for what I need. These soft brass brushes are great for my metal clay and wrought iron work. I wasn't expecting the 4 inch bristles to run the length of the wooden brush. Actual bristle length is 0.75 inches. Really soft, (and it will be much better than using a steel brush which constantly painfully pokes working fingers) Very satisfied.
