I received the item in perfect condition. The instructions match the seller's description. Attaching the guide to the wood chisel is simple and straightforward. Due to the slight wobble when finger tightening, you will need a screwdriver to tighten the guide to the tool. My ONLY complaint about the tool is the brass gear which, on first use, seized even with slight pressure causing flat spots on the idler gear. Lubrication seems to make a huge improvement. I highly recommend lubricating the wheel bearing before first use to avoid damaging the idler wheel.
