DB Electrical AFD0115 Generator

No problems with a generator so far. Boost at 14.76 on cold start at high revs. This was for a 2006 Ford Focus with an automatic transmission. There is a video but my tedious experience of removing and installing was not that easy. The top mounting bolt should come out, but I would leave the bottom left regular screw and remove it last (and first) and remove the bottom and top nuts to remove the plastic shield if possible. The bottom bolt should also have two nuts and a brass washer, and you may need a wrench thin enough to hold the nut. The ones I made all came out with a bobby pin. The tensioner has a 15mm hex that is, or should be, molded into the lever. The alternator is slightly larger than the gap between the engine and the steering rack. I think a piece of wood about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide wedged between the motor and the brace should give some clearance to remove and install the alternators. The engine is on rubber mounts, so it moves a bit. When reinstalling the belt, a video shows that the easiest way is to put the last part of the belt on the front idler pulley or on the power steering. Nevertheless, watch all related videos on You Tube.
