Not very effective for large joints
Ball joints could not be loosened on my 1995 Explorer 4WD. It took a 3 pound hammer and a C-clamp tool. This is not necessary for tie rod joints. The same hammer separated them perfectly. For me it was useless. Well, not much money was spent.
Pros
- Both supplied grips fit all three forks. Piloted grips act as shock absorbers to protect the grip threads.
