I needed a fuel filter that could be cleaned and reused. I bought a boat with a very dirty fuel tank. After cleaning the tank multiple times and cleaning the carbs multiple times, I was still having issues. I bought two of these filters and installed one. I ran the boat until it burned out and then replaced it with a different filter, cleaning it in the process. After doing this many times the boat runs like new and I have an extra filter on the boat in case I need one.
