This is a set of 2 pads of drawing paper. Paper sizes are 8.25 x 11.75 inches, common in Europe and Asia, but narrow and long for American consumers. Acid-free paper, 140 lbs., natural white. It is tied with glue at the short end. The cover is made of cardboard, the back is made of thick hard cardboard. I find this paper good for watercolors and markers. I take drawing classes for beginners, so I've been drawing a lot lately. This paper is better than some other mixed media papers I've tried, especially the lavender papers. So I'm saving this paper for parts I'll probably want to keep and studying the purple paper. The paper holds the markers well, doesn't spread. I find the texture of watercolor pencils a bit heavy, but watercolor paints handle it pretty well. All in all, this is a good art paper for a variety of art projects, including painting.
