Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Enhanced 3D Filament for YOYI Additive Manufacturing Products by Chris Chincuanco

Very Good Filament: Purchased 35 rolls

I have always used Prusa filament and have never had any problems. Especially with their new own product Prusament. The rolls are wound well. The thread NEVER sticks. And their colors are great. So why change? They have been hit hard by the oversupply of orders and devote much of their production to PPE for the local market. They will not keep a list of filament residue like they do for their machines. I needed over 35 rolls of three different colors for a job I'm doing. I was able to get 10 rolls of Ultramarine PETG when it was available. Her supply lasted 6 hours. I was angry that I couldn't get a confirmed delivery or even answers about when I can get the item. Their CSRs don't help at all. Enter this Yoyi thread. I tried it and found that it works just as well as Prusa. There are also less pleasant moments: the coils are not wound perfectly, like on the Prusa; Packaging is not resealed; Crates are flimsy if you want to stack them on a shelf. AND PRICE! The Prusa is $26.99 after my discount but before shipping. Shipping is about $5 per roll if I buy 10 rolls or more. Revain is selling this yoyi for $35.99! Of course, this includes free shipping, but it's still $4 more expensive than the Prusa per roll. There are cheaper PETG filaments out there, but I've had no luck with them. The Yoyi works flawlessly, maybe with a little more stretch than the Prusa. The colors of the transparent threads were wonderful. I think the red and green are actually better than the Prusa. But that's a matter of taste. The fact is, Yoyi is VERY expensive, but it was available when Prusa didn't exist. If you have a project to do, this could be the solution for you.
